 Committee Serial No. J-105-26. Hearing before the Subcom on Immigration to
 consider S. 810, the China Sanctions and Human Rights Advancement Act, to
 establish measures to respond to human rights abuses in the People's
 Republic of China.
 Includes provisions to:
 a. Prohibit the issuance of visas to Chinese officials involved in
     religious repression.
 b. Require additional training for U.S. asylum officers to improve their
     ability to recognize evidence of religious persecution.
 c. Require the U.S. to vote against multilateral development bank loans to
     China, and restrict U.S. aid to international family planning
     organizations and multilateral development banks which provide
     assistance to China.
